Company History

Elliott Merrill Management was incorporated over twenty years ago in Indian River County, Florida. We are a locally owned and operated business that has grown from managing one property to our present clientele consisting of over 80 properties of both commercial, office and community associations.  Our headquarters is in Vero Beach, Florida and we maintain a staff of over 140 employees.  In the past few years we have combined our Real Estate Group with our Facility Management team to form our Commercial Management Division.

 
Team of Professionals

 

 Our President, and primary Broker, Karen Merrill, is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts. She is also a Graduate of the Real Institute (GRI) and has received the highest designation achievable in the management industry, PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager).

 

Vice President Bill Mandigo hails from Watertown, NY.  He joined Elliott Merrill as head of the Commercial Division in 2004.  Starting out 30 years ago as a mechanical designer with government security clearance, Bill got involved in property management after years of buying, developing and selling his own properties in New York.  In 1985 Bill retired and moved to Florida with his wife Connie.  His retirement didn't last long.  Always thirsting for knowledge, Bill went back to school and obtained his Real Estate license, then his Broker's license, a Series 6 and his Life, Health & Annuity licenses.  After many years of working for himself as a Financial Planner and Real Estate Broker, he decided to get back into property management and joined the Elliott Merrill team. 

Sue Barnes:  Sue is the administrative assistant to our commercial division.  She is originally from New Jersey.  She attended Brookdale Community College where she earned an Associates degree in Business Administration.  She is a former community manager, managing large communities on-site since 1997.  She has a daughter and a son .
